Last month, my boss told me to chase all the projects for their monthly report because they supposed to submit it every 1st week of the month (before that week ends), and we were already on the 2nd week of the month, he also told me that so and so submitted their reports already.
So I emailed everyone at the different project sites (managers & secretaries) asking for their monthly report including the ones who have already submitted their.
ME:Dear All, Please submit your report for the month of August so and so. Disregard if you have already submitted. Please also be reminded that we need your report every so and so of the month. Thank you for your cooperation.
One Idiot-at-site (IAS) replied:For your information, we have submitted our report already and we are submitting our report on or before so and so of the month.
ME *thinks* what happened to the "disregard if you..." *sighs*:Thanks IAS.

On the 29th of last month/last Sunday, I sent the same people a reminder email about the report..
ME:Dear All, This is a friendly reminder that your report for September is due on so and so date. Would you please send your report on time or as earlier as possible? Thank you.
Then Thursday morning, I resent the same reminder email again. And on the very same day before COB, the same IAS emailed their report.
Then another email from IAS saying:We already emailed you the so and so report. And for your information we are submitting the report every so and so date. So no need to send us a reminder. This is fyi and record.
ME *thinks* what happened to "this is a friendly reminder.." Srzly. WTH.:Noted. Thanks.
