Froggy, The Prince... NOT!

For the the 3rd time, I saw a frog (one with swollen neck and belly) in the toilet, EEEK!!! First one was a lightest yellow or cream in color, second one was darker than the first one, and the one that I saw last night was brown... so gross! I really don't know how it got there, I've been searching for a possible hole but couldn't find any.

McArabia (I'm lovin' it)

I miss McArabia -- love their Kitkat or M&M McFlurry (only Oreo McFlurry is available here), their Quarter Pounder with cheese and Big Mac (making it look like a 1/8 Pounder and Small Mac here), their Chocolate Milk (from Happy Meal). Plus they have a very interesting menu... Fruit Bites, McArabia Kofta, Veggie Burger, just to name a few. I can't list everything on their menu, that would take too long. McDo here sucks a bit compared to McArabia.

None Of The Above

There's an article about Arab men from an Arab woman's point of view and I must say that my Arab is untypical as he doesn't fall under any of the applicable categories she mentioned. Feeling blabby, told my Arab the first 3 categories without elaborating, here's an excerpt of our conversation:

Wow - Miss USA Is An Arab And Controversial

Miss USA 2010 Rima Fakih, a Lebanese immigrant, sparks controversy and it's going strong. Is she in danger to lose her crown because of her pole dancing photos? Are people talking trash over her because she's an Arab and a Muslim at that? Which photos are more provocative ---

Why Arab Men Rub Noses, Kiss Cheeks, and Hold Hands

Don't let your thoughts go very far if you see Arab men greeting each other by nose-rubbing or cheek-kissing or hand-holding as these are very usual customs between close friends in the Arab world.

Date Alert: Scrutinizing Arab Men

Dating Arab men -- how do you know one when you see one?

Some Arab men can be hard to read especially if you are an "outsider" and I am not an expert on this stuff but if you want to know the real-world truth about them, here's a summary of Kabobfest's complete guide to the different types of Arab men outside the Arab world:

A Few Good Looking Arab Men

"An Arab, in the modern sense of the word, is one who is a national of an Arab state, has command of the Arabic language, and possesses a fundamental knowledge of Arab tradition, that is, of the manners, customs, and political and social systems of the culture."  ~ Habib Hassan Touma

Hummus Hut vs. Kosher King

Have you seen the 2005 musical comedy West Bank Story? It was set in the fast-paced, fast-food world of competing falafel stands or restaurants - the Hummus Hut owned by a Palestinian and the Kosher King owned by an Israeli  in the West Bank...

Grumpy Habibi, LOL

The other day I was planning to have a regular  post about sharing our (my Arab and I) thoughts - as in his view and my view - on different topics... something like "He Says/She Says" post, I repeat POST not advice column. It will be a weekly or fortnightly post depends on his mood. *LOL*
